Born to ride, Raised to rodeo

I work at UAM as a math specialist.  I had to mention this first because I feel like all I do is work all the time!  This is my 17th year in education.  I've been an aerobic instructor for about 22 years.  I teach at the Athletic Club.  Most of those 22 years, I have taught step aerobics.  My newest hobby is barrel racing and pole bending.  I've been riding horses about 5 years now and competing on barrels and poles for about 3 years which takes me away from most of my gym life.  But's that's ok.  I couldn't possibly imagine my life now without my horses.  The most important part of my life is my son, Kendell.  He is almost 18 and all grown up.  We use to enjoy riding together, but he's too cool for horse back riding now.  So, I've had to learn to pick up other hobbies like snubba diving and snow skiing to enjoy spending time with him.  Anyways, I'm a person that stays busy, burning up the roads and enjoying life.  Thank God he has given the health and energy to do all I do!!!
