Dates:  2nd, 4th and 5th Friday nights of each month beginning April 24th.  Points will be accumulated from June - September for year end awards.

Time:  All future SSRC "Play Days" will begin promptly at 7:30.

Events:  Point Events:  Barrels/Poles - 4 age groups  starting in June

    2nd Friday nights: 4H night  -  Barres/Poles for points, then other 4H offered events.

    4th Friday nights: Jackpot night  -  Barrels/Poles for points, then $50.00 added jackpot barrels.

    5th Friday nights: Barrels/Poles for points.

Entry Fees:  $3.00 for members, $4.00 for non-members.

Dress Code:  Casual dress code, however NO Tanktops allowed in arena.

If you have completed the 4H form you can submit it to the Chicot County Extension office or give it to me.

If you are interested in being a 4H member, please contact me for a form.  4H is an educational, free service for kids 5-19.

News:

Board met in January and planned out the 2009 Play day season.  4H horse club will be added this year to the club along with 4H events.  Jackpot barreils will also be a regular on the 4th Friday night of each month.

Board Meeting - June 2008 - Girls softball tournament will be the weekend of June 27th.  From 7-8 pm we are planning to have a youth roundup event to support the ball tournament and offer some entertainment for those that are looking for something to do.

Board Meeting - April 14, 2008 - Minor changes to note - Start time moved to 7:30pm.  Anyone practicing in the arena needs to follow arena etiquette and leave the arena like you find it.  Please make sure that if you set any pattern up (barrels, poles, etc) that you remove the pattern before leaving.  This is a general courtisy to the Parks and Recreation and anyone who should ride there next.

Board Meeting - April 7, 2008 - Rules have been finalized for the 2008 season.  Plans made to start riding April 11th. 

Meeting - March 11, 2008 at the Lake Village arena.  6:00 for board members, 6:30 for general meeting.  Everyone who is interested in riding this year is encouraged to attend.
